Travel from the Adriatic coast across the Venetian Lagoon and enjoy the majesty and history of Venice. Then continue through the Venetian countryside, visiting a Palladian villa or two, before climbing into the hills. Discover Verona, Romeo and Juliet’s city and then follow the Alpine route towards the Brenner Pass and the town of Bolzano. Enjoy the fresh mountain air of the Italian Alps, great food, walking and charming villages. Then north over the Brenner to Austria and the historic cities of Innsbruck and Salzburg. This is Sound of Music country and the birthplace of Mozart. Prepare to be charmed. Then cross the border into Bavaria, Southern Germany to stay in the smart and sophisticated city of Munich. A Grand Tour from the Adriatic to the Alps and Bavaria.
