Truffle hunting in Italy is a fun thing to do in the months of September, October and November. Truffles grow under the ground, like tubers, they are usually found on wooded hillsides. Each year we organise trips to Piemonte and Emilia Romagna to explore the countryside, meet the locals and discover a thing or two about truffle hunting.
The Veneto area of Italy is enchanting, the waters of the Venetian lagoon, the magical city of Venice and the rolling hills of Valdobbiadene make for a wonderful journey in Northern Italy. Add in the historic town of Asolo, where the poet Robert Browning, writer Freya Stark and actress Eleonora Duse lived for many years and you really have it all. History, culture, art and architecture. Wonderful food and wine. Don’t forget a glass of Prosecco on your visit.
