Grand Tourist was established in 2005 in Great Britain. We are an independent luxury tour operator, offering the highest quality travel services from London to Rome, Paris to Istanbul, Venice to Athens. We focus on tailor-made European travel experiences for our international clientele.
Our inspiration comes from the ‘Grand Tour’ of the 18th century, when British gentlemen travelled through France and Italy to discover art, culture, history and the treasures of Ancient Rome and Greece. We specialize in touring journeys through France, Switzerland, Italy and the Mediterranean Basin. We offer a very high quality personal service to our clients and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail. Our philosophy is simple: to create a unique and exceptional trip for each of our valued clients. Our office staff speak French, Spanish, Italian and German.
Every Grand Tourist itinerary features a unique and exceptional experience - a private visit to a vineyard in the Prosecco producing region of Italy perhaps, with a chance to meet the producers and have lunch together. For a lover of fine food we would suggest lunch at Uliassi, on Italy's Adriatic Coast, one of the finest restaurants in Italy. We'd arrange lunch on the terrace, a visit to the kitchen to meet the kitchen brigade and a chance to meet Mr Uliassi himself!
From the vineyards of Champagne to the mysterious cave hotels of Cappadocia, Turkey we are at your service to create imaginative and interesting travel experiences. You really can't go to Cappadocia without enjoying a dawn hot-air balloon ride over the canyons and rocky escarpments of this lunar landscape.
