Ranking first in many a motorist's speed hungry mind, the Monaco Grand Prix is a must see event! Next season promises to be more exciting then ever with McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari constantly innovating and improving - ensuring the most thrilling racing in years.
Friday 27th May
After arriving into Nice by private jet, enjoy a helicopter ride along the coast from Nice to Monaco. The views you will experience en-route are simply sensational! Once settled into the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel, relax on the rooftop with a glass of champagne and the azure-blue Mediterranean at your finger tips.
As night falls, head for the Cafe de Paris for an aperitif to watch the world go by - Casino Square is not to be missed! After dinner why not head inside the casino? The famous Casino of Monte Carlo was opened in 1863 and since then Monaco has been renowned as an international jet set location famous for gambling and leisure. Even if gambling isn't your thing, it's worth a visit for the architecture alone.
Saturday 28th May
For the serious car enthusiasts, paddock club or grandstand tickets can be arranged for todays qualifiers. Alternatively, seating and hospitality can be arranged on the roof terrace of your hotel (overlooking the famous hair-pin bend). Of course guests of the hotel are free to visit the roof for amazing views over Monaco at any time.
If you would rather save yourself for the main event, there is plenty more to see and do. Monaco oozes style; it is easy to be swept into the fantasy lifestyle even if you are not one of the owners of the many expensive sports cars that litter the streets or yachts moored in the harbour. The Jardin Exotique, housing an array of delicate and rare plants and the Peillon that features frescoes by Canavesi are just a sample of the more high brow alternatives that you can experience if you can bring yourself to leave the casino, the pool or race track!
Sunday 29th May
The atmosphere today will be awesome! From your trackside seats*, you will witness one of the most prestigious sporting events as F1 cars roar around one of the only street tracks in the world. the famous street circuit. With its elevation changes and tight corners, the Monaco race track is considered one of the most demanding in the world and a very dangerous place to race. Ironically, if it was not a Grand Prix circuit it would not be allowed to be added to the schedule for health and safety reasons!
The Monaco Grand Prix has a thrilling seventy eight laps of high speed tension which span roughly one hundred and fifty seven miles - a track that elegantly yet dangerously curves through the geography of the city. The contrast of the infamous shady tunnel with the dazzling sunshine outside, once more tests the driver's nerve before the imminent and perilous chicane, which was not designed for stunned motorists...
Once the race has drawn to a close, the new champion announced and the sun sets over this most stunning corner of the world, your holiday is drawing to a close. Why not enjoy a final night at a gala dinner and perhaps continue into the early hours at the famous "Amber Lounge" party where the F1 drivers and famous faces go to celebrate in style!
