Savigno Panorama
Truffle hunting in Italy is a fun thing to do in the months of September, October and November. Truffles grow under the ground, like tubers, they are usually found on wooded hillsides. Each year we organise trips to Piemonte and Emilia Romagna to explore the countryside, meet the locals and discover a thing or two about truffle hunting.

Venice is an enchanting city. Palaces, bridges and canals link the numerous islands of Venice to each other. This is a city of boats, lapping water and polished paving stones. A city to walk, wander and dream. A city of romance. Why not join me, Janet Simmonds, tour guide and travel writer in the city that has inspired and influenced me for more than thirty years. My next small group trip will be April 2018. Alternatively I'll write an itinerary just for you and you can visit Venice any time. Winter is especially atmospheric and much less crowded.
