Istanbul - update / Thursday 10th Sept

It is a lovely morning in Istanbul - I am in the historic centre of Sultanahmet, with Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque just five minutes walk away.
There is some cloud and some blue sky and a light wind - we are hoping that there is no more rain!! Tonight we will have a Welcome Dinner on the roof terrace of the Armada Hotel (fortunately the roof terrace has a permanent covered area) so we are completely comfortable whatever the weather.
Grand Tourist is looking forward to welcoming WCFM to Istanbul.
